You only live once. Enjoy. Life. Now.

Peace and love and HELLO stranger. Welcome to my blog! My name is Kristina. Pretty vacant. I’m a traveling free spirit. I love the ocean, poetry, books, arts, theatre, the power of music and people. I know life is tough and that your body and mind are the center of it. I believe in a better world.

Autumn 2012: “As I’m writing these words I’ve just finished my bachelor degree in drama and theatre, and started chasing the dream of Southeast-Asia and Australia. Cause that’s where I’m going – Australia and Vietnam. This fall I plan to study Austral-Asian culture at Griffith University in Brisbane. At the end of the semester there will be 5-6 weeks with backpacking and adventures in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. The route is not set and I don’t know who I will be traveling with. I’m leaving the rainy mountains of Norway searching for new friends, tastes, smells, and looks. And waves. Surf’s coming up. September 3rd and I’m on my way to the other side, down under. Suddenly I’ve got the world at my doorstep.

I’m writing this blog to update my friends and family back home, BUT mainly I need somewhere to put down all those words and thoughts that pop up in my head during the day. Mind stress. Utter confusion. Lyrics, poems, just random gibberish, dreams and fantasies… A chaos of unknown phrases. Artistic portraits of the worlds naked truths – I try to come up with some colorful and readable stories for you guys. Try to combine the right letters and make the sentences carry you away somewhere. Be gentle, these words are nothing but my own reflections. You might see things otherwise. When I first started this blog it’s main language was Norwegian. From now on, as you’ve already noticed, I’ll try to write this blog in English. I know life is full of challenges. No doubt this is one of them! I’m struggling. Hopefully those of you who’ve managed to stumble over this blog will have some patients, (pray I get better after some practice!) and eventually, hopefully the spelling and grammar will be better. I’ll add some pictures to try fill the gaps of vagueness. Since I was little I’ve just had to write it all down. I still keep my diary close at heart. If you got any questions feel free to drop me a line a in the comments.

In my world,  music is inevitable. “If I tap my feet on the floor or drum my fingers on the desk, it means I’m playing a favorite song in my head. Not just playing it—blasting it at full volume”.
